Two very different ceramic candlesticks. Both are hand made and smaller is signed "Paul ..." I can't make out the rest.
Both candle holders are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or flaws other than naturally occuring in making them. Both are kiln fired. They have been used, so there may be some wax I haven't detected that can easily be removed. They both take standard candles or tapers.
I'm selling these together because I used them on special occassions in a grouping of mis-matched candle sticks to make a wonderful, warm centerpiece on my dining or coffee table. To me, they belong together.
The tall candlestick measures approx. 7.5" tall and 3.75" base diameter; "drip catch" is slightly larger in diameter than base. The small candle holder measures approx. 3" tall and 2" base diameter; "drip catch" is 4.75 at widest point, with handle .75" wide.
Prepackaged weight approx. 1.5 lbs.
I purchased these from a curio shop and have no idea of the age of the two. For the collector of ceramics, though, these would be a great addition! They would add to a rustic setting.
