Beautiful Rare heart-shaped bowl
This was handed down from my great-grandmother, and was manufactured in 1905.
Bowl measures 8 1/4" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall.
Other than one chip on the middle left side and a flea bite on the middle right side of the bowl, it has no imperfections from handling.
This is a gorgeous piece of early American pressed glass. The design of Double Pinwheel is of a large pinwheel with smaller pinwheels at the end of each spoke. The large pinwheels are separated by an X shaped design. Inside the X (both top and bottom) is a diamond shaped space in a waffle design. To fill in other areas, a fan shaped design is used. Prepackaged weight approx. 10 oz.
